Mack Avenue Eats is a family owned mobile restaurant based out of Wilson, NC, operated by a dynamic husband and wife team. Reginald Muldrow (also known as Mack), a US Navy Veteran and his wife Alfreda, decided to follow their passion for cooking. The Muldrows and their extended families are true seafood lovers with steamed and fried crabs being their favorite, in addition to authentic American cuisine. After moving from the Washington, DC and Virginia Beach areas to North Carolina, they noticed that it was hard to find really good quality seafood comparable to their northern roots. The decision to start a mobile restaurant specializing in Seafood and other American classics was a no brainer.
“Even though my wife and I have no formal culinary training, we possess over 26 years of experience cooking that many have come to love and enjoy.” Mack developed a passion for cooking at an early age and eventually decided to embark upon the mobile restaurant industry in 2011. Mack Avenue Eats’ humble beginnings were doing business out of a tent which eventually evolved into a custom made mobile food restaurant in 2014. Quickly gaining attention and a community following, Mack Avenue Eats is known for their seafood entrees of the finest, freshest quality, prepared daily to order. Other specialties include Mack’s famous Fried Hard shell Crabs, Shrimp Burgers and specially prepared seasoned Crab balls made from the family’s secret recipe.
Mack and Alfreda, along with their children, very much enjoy owning and operating a mobile restaurant. “One of the greatest advantages of Mack Avenue Eats is being mobile, and that affords us many opportunities to travel and allow others from different cities and states to experience our tasty food. Our food and friendly service can be experienced locally as well as at various events.
